How to Make a Holodeck
by Change is Silver
This funny, fascinating, and insightful book shows you various exclusive new ways in which glasses free (+headache free), angle independent, 3D image displays and 4D movie displays can be created. It provides a fun, yet challenging read for anyone interested in learning about the robust, voluminous nature of light in the real world, and in discovering how to reproduce that light completely, identically, and flawlessly. It contains substantial content for technology fans, software designers, graphic artists, inventors looking for new ideas, and casual readers who just want to learn something new.
Colorful, humorous drawings accompany almost every paragraph to provide a visual backbone for a visual technology. The Text can be read without referencing the drawings for non-visual learners. Concepts command both depth and ease of understanding. Specific ideas give enough foundation to create innumerable new inventions, but remain general enough to allow readers to patent their own derivations.
The book begins with a functional, proven technique (see video below) to create static, volumetric 3D image systems that can show imagery at any distance into or out of a screen. It then logically and meticulously derives progressively more advanced methods to create 4D movie systems, tiered data/power structures, and volumetric video recordings. Additional content suggests ways to simulate non-visual senses and to create Holodeck-like rooms called "xDecks."

3V Proof of Concept
"RGB Cube" and "GRAN LENS"
These demonstration videos show footage of two different "3V" displays (3D Visualization system), the first technology detailed in the book. Both displays show an extended 3D cube on an otherwise flat surface (one in three colors, the other changeable). Since the cubes are continuously visible from all angles, they prove the foundational concepts in the book, meaning that creating a 'moving picture' "4V" is only a matter of patience and hard work, not magic or force fields. ^_^
"But, just so that you don'’t feel like I'’m '“pitching you toward a voluminous water body'’s surface area center devoid of a properly functioning flotation contrivance”' (catchy, yes), I included the text for the GRAN LENS program at the end of the book."
"The nice thing about putting a picture on a surface that surrounds us is that it doesn't matter how big the surface is as long as the picture is scaled with it. So if we make the surface really small, we still have a 'big' picture of the world."
"You see, seeing things on a Holodeck just isn't good enough anymore. It may have been exciting back in your grandpappy's day, but you want to hear, feel, taste, and smell another reality; and I want to be able to travel to another planet and feel like I'm breathing in 500 degree sulfur atoms (it's just always been a dream of mine)."
"You could just plaster speakers all over the deck, but then you'd see speakers all over the place. You could put the speakers behind the walls, but then the sound would be muffled and the vibrations might interfere with the sensitive 4V equipment..."
"Together we can do it, I know we can! *Rah* *Rah*"
